Harvesting and Drawing

Recently, I have been growing some veggies and fruits in my garden. I have been taking photos of the different stages of planting, growing, riping and harvesting, and even dying.

Here are some examples of this interesting process, joining the lives of the plants and fruits in their whole process.

I hope you enjoy some of the samples:

This first series is called "Tomatitos and Chillies"

The Jelly Belly Man Cover Illustration and Inside pages

In 2010 I wrote a piece called "The Jelly Belly Man". This piece was written inspired by my husband's incurable muscle debilitation and degenerative disease diagnosed either as Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type III or Inclusion Body Myositis.

The Old Pusher of South Penrith

It has been a while since 2007 that I have not worked on this blog. Nevertheless I could see that the page had a considerable amount of views.

In the process of consoliddating, I am adding new content now that I am able to take on more freely in my artistic activities.

Recently I wrote a piece called "The Old Guys". One of the old guys who inspired me was "The Old Pusher of South Penrith". Please see the illustration I made of him below.

My manga comics characters to submit

I am going to present some images I have drawn and painted in ink and watercolour. I will show the originals and the retouched ones using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. You will see how with Photoshop I coloured the scanned image with overlay colours trying to respect the original drawing and original colours in most cases.

All images and photos are subject of copyright. All the copy rights belong to the artist, AE Sastrias.
